Position Summary

The Business Analyst at Precision Diagnostics will report to the Director of Applications & Business Intelligence in the Information Services and Technology department. A successful Business Analyst will understand and operate in alignment with the company’s strategic goals under general supervision.   The Business Analyst will be the voice of the solution, and projects they’ll contribute to may include a technology component, process improvement, or organizational change. The Business Analyst must be methodical, unafraid to ask questions, and be motivated lead change.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Familiarity and comfort with data, including the ability to use data to analyze and monitor process health, set goals and metrics, and aid in the prioritization of initiatives and features. Strong analytical and quant skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive action. 

  • Consistently demonstrates commitment, courage, focus, openness, and respect in all interactions, both within and outside of the team. 

  • Work as part of a project team to evaluate business needs, define and prioritize requirements, and ensure continuity between requirements, development, and testing.  

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, analyze internal processes and workflows and conduct other research activities as necessary to understand the underlying business needs and requirements.  

  • Document functional specifications that detail how the solution will work from the user's perspective, including the creation of use cases, workflows, performance requirements, and other feature requirements.  

  • Support QA on the creation of User Acceptance Testing plans, documentation, and end-user support.  

  • Help create training materials and assist with end-user training.  

  • Author and maintain department SOPs and Policies. 

  • Intermediate/Expert use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)  

  • Experience in Healthcare preferred.
